El Molouk is a business-to-business exporter of fresh produce. This policy explains what personal data we handle when you contact us or use this website, why we handle it, and the rights you have over it.
Who is responsible
Kings For Import & Export, trading as El Molouk, is the controller of the data described here. Our full company and contact details are listed at the foot of this page.
What we collect
Only what you send us. Our enquiry form asks for a destination port, a volume, a company e-mail address and, optionally, an Incoterm and a message. If you write to us by e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp, we hold that correspondence. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, in order to serve and secure the site.
Why we use it, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if you go ahead, perform the resulting contract — the basis for which is the performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one. Keeping records of business correspondence and protecting this site rest on our legitimate interests. We do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell them.
Who else sees it, and for how long we keep it
Nobody beyond what is necessary. If you choose to send your enquiry through WhatsApp, the message travels through that service under its own terms. Our hosting provider processes technical logs on our behalf. Details are shared with freight forwarders, inspection bodies or authorities only where a shipment you have ordered requires it. Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for up to 24 months; records connected to an actual shipment are kept for as long as commercial and customs law requires.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. One functional cookie records the language you are reading in, so the site does not switch language on you between pages.
Your rights, and changes to this policy
If you are in the EU, the UK or another jurisdiction with comparable law, you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to the e-mail address below and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. If this policy changes, the date above will change with it.
